What kind of institution is I AM University?

I AM University is an independent, faith-based online educational institution. We are currently focused on providing non-degree educational programs at the intersection of faith, leadership, and emerging technology. We are not a traditional degree-granting university at this time. We are actively developing the academic, governance, and compliance infrastructure needed to pursue formal institutional accreditation in the future.

What is the faith basis of I AM University?

I AM University is grounded in a broadly Christian worldview, with a particular emphasis on the integration of Scripture, spiritual formation, and practical wisdom. Our curriculum engages seriously with biblical theology, Christian ethics, and the application of faith principles to leadership, technology, and everyday life. Students of all backgrounds are welcome; however, our programs are intentionally shaped by a faith-centered perspective.

Who are the instructors at I AM University?

Our instructors and curriculum contributors include ministry leaders, seasoned practitioners, subject matter experts, and educators with relevant academic and professional credentials in their respective fields. Are I AM University programs accredited?

I AM University is not currently institutionally accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting agency. Our current programs are non-degree educational offerings, not degree programs. We are building the academic and governance infrastructure required to pursue formal institutional accreditation as part of our long-term development. We are committed to full transparency on this point and encourage all prospective students to consider this carefully before enrolling.

Will credits from I AM University transfer to another institution?

Because I AM University is not currently institutionally accredited, credits earned in our programs may not transfer to other colleges or universities. Credit transfer is entirely at the discretion of the receiving institution. We strongly advise prospective students who intend to transfer credits to contact their target institution directly before enrolling. I AM University does not guarantee transfer acceptance by any other institution.

Do I receive a degree when I complete a program?

No. All current I AM University programs are non-degree educational programs. Completing a course or program results in a certificate of completion, not an academic degree. I AM University does not currently confer bachelor's, master's, doctoral, or any other academic degrees. Our certificates recognize your learning achievement but are professional development credentials, not academic degrees recognized by accrediting bodies.

How do I enroll in a program?

Enrollment at I AM University follows a simple four-step process: choose your program, submit a brief application, receive confirmation from our admissions team, and begin learning. There are no entrance examinations, standardized tests, or lengthy essays required. Visit our How to Apply page for detailed instructions.

Can international students enroll at I AM University?

Yes. Because all I AM University programs are delivered entirely online, students from any country may enroll. We do not issue F-1 or any other immigration visas, and enrollment at I AM University does not confer immigration status. International students should verify any local requirements related to online education in their country before enrolling.

Can I work full time while enrolled at I AM University?

Absolutely. Our programs are specifically designed for working adults. All learning is self-paced with no mandatory live sessions, no fixed class schedules, and no attendance requirements tied to specific times. Most students complete their coursework in evenings and on weekends while maintaining full-time employment. You control the pace and timing of your learning.

Is there a minimum age requirement?

Yes. Students must be at least 18 years of age to enroll at I AM University. This requirement applies to all programs and enrollment tiers.

Is financial assistance available at I AM University?

I AM University does not participate in federal financial aid (Title IV) programs. Students are not eligible to use federal Pell Grants, federal student loans, federal work-study, or any other Title IV federal student assistance for I AM University programs. All costs must be paid directly by the student or through private means. We offer flexible installment payment options where available. Contact our admissions team to discuss payment options.

What is I AM University's refund policy?

Students who withdraw within 7 days of enrollment and before accessing more than 20% of course content are eligible for a full refund, minus processing fees. Refund eligibility decreases on a pro-rated basis after the initial 7-day window. No refunds are issued after 30 days of enrollment or once 50% or more of the enrolled program has been completed, whichever comes first. Annual All-Access Enrollment may be cancelled before the renewal date to prevent future charges; no partial refunds are issued for unused time after the initial 7-day window. Are there any additional fees beyond program tuition?

No. There are no separate technology fees, platform access charges, or mandatory material fees beyond the stated program enrollment price. All course materials, workbooks, community forum access, and certificates of completion are included in your enrollment. There is no application fee for non-degree enrollment.

How is learning delivered at I AM University?

Learning at I AM University is delivered through our online student portal in a self-paced format. Content is organized into structured modules that include video lessons, written content, reflection exercises, and practical assignments. Students can progress at their own pace, pause and resume freely, and revisit completed material throughout their enrollment period.

How long are I AM University programs?

Program length varies by course and enrollment tier. Individual courses are typically designed to be completed in 4–12 weeks at a pace of approximately 3–5 hours per week. School bundles covering a full school's curriculum may take 6–18 months depending on the student's pace. All-Access Enrollment provides ongoing access to all content. There are no mandatory deadlines; you learn on your schedule.

Is there a community component to the learning experience?

Yes. Community is a core element of the I AM University learning model. All enrolled students gain access to program-specific community forums where they can discuss course material, ask questions, share insights, and connect with fellow learners. School bundle and All-Access students are placed in school-specific community groups. Instructor Q&A sessions and office hours are also available for direct engagement.

What technology do I need to participate?

You need a reliable computer (Windows or Mac), a modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge), and a stable internet connection of at least 10 Mbps download speed for video content. A smartphone or tablet can supplement your learning but is not a substitute for a computer for full platform functionality. Visit our Technology Requirements page for complete specifications.

Do I need any specific software or apps?

No paid software subscriptions are required. All learning occurs within the browser-based student portal. You will benefit from having a PDF viewer, basic productivity tools (such as word processing), and an up-to-date browser. Some courses may recommend (but not require) specific free tools relevant to course content, particularly in the AI and digital entrepreneurship school.

What student support is available?

Enrolled students have access to email-based student support, community forums, instructor Q&A sessions, and a comprehensive knowledge base within the student portal. Our support team is available to assist with technical issues, account questions, and general enrollment concerns. Students enrolled in school bundles and All-Access enrollment receive priority support access.

What if I need technical help with the platform?

Our technical support team is available via email and our support portal. Common issues are also addressed in the student knowledge base. If you experience persistent technical issues, contact support@iamuniversity.us and our team will respond within 1–2 business days.
