Accessibility
Education Accessible to Everyone
I AM University is committed to providing an accessible, inclusive learning environment for all students, regardless of disability or functional limitation. Accessibility is not an afterthought — it is a core institutional value.
Our Commitment
WCAG 2.1 Level AA Compliance Statement
I AM University is committed to ensuring that our website and online learning platform conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines describe how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
Conformance to WCAG 2.1 Level AA means that our content meets all Level A and Level AA success criteria, addressing accessibility barriers for users who are blind or have low vision, deaf or hard of hearing, have mobility limitations, cognitive disabilities, or who use assistive technologies to navigate the web.
We recognize that accessibility is a continuous process. We actively work to identify and remediate barriers, test our platform with assistive technologies, and incorporate accessibility into our development and content creation workflows. We welcome feedback from users who encounter accessibility barriers on our platform.
Our Accessibility Promise
If you encounter any content or functionality on our platform that is not accessible to you, we commit to providing you with the information or service you need through an accessible alternative means. Your learning should never be blocked by a technical barrier.

Student Services
How to Request Accommodations
I AM University is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to students with documented disabilities to ensure equal access to educational programs and services. We follow an interactive, student-centered process for determining appropriate accommodations.
Submit an Accommodation Request
Contact our student services team at support@iamuniversity.us to initiate an accommodation request. You may do this at any time — before enrollment, at enrollment, or during your program.
Provide Supporting Documentation
We will ask for documentation from a qualified professional (physician, psychologist, audiologist, etc.) describing your disability and its functional impact. We work with students to minimize documentation barriers where appropriate.
Collaborative Determination
Our student services team will review your request and documentation, and work with you collaboratively to determine reasonable accommodations. We aim to respond to accommodation requests within 10 business days.
Implementation
Approved accommodations are documented in writing and communicated to the relevant instructors and platform administrators. Accommodations are implemented prospectively from the date of approval.
Ongoing Support
If your accommodation needs change during your program, contact us and we will engage in the interactive process again. We are committed to ensuring your accommodations remain appropriate throughout your enrollment.
Important: Reasonable accommodations do not fundamentally alter the nature of a program or waive essential program requirements. The institution will provide documentation explaining any denial or modification of an accommodation request, and students may appeal such decisions through our Student Complaint Policy.
Transparency
Known Limitations & Ongoing Work
As a newer institution, we are honest that our accessibility work is ongoing. Some areas of our platform are still being evaluated and improved for full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. We commit to the following:
- Conducting annual accessibility audits of our platform and addressing identified issues
- Testing new features and content with assistive technologies before release
- Training our content creators and platform developers in accessibility best practices
- Prioritizing accessibility issues based on severity of impact to users with disabilities
- Publishing updates to this accessibility statement when significant improvements are made
If you encounter specific accessibility barriers, please report them using the contact information below. Your feedback directly informs our remediation priorities.
